A coach who knows the whole runner.
Runwritten writes a plan that belongs to you, from your whole history, your races, your club nights and your real week, and keeps rewriting it with you as training and life happen.
- Bring the plan you already have. Kept whole, never condensed.
- Guidelines, not rules. Defaults with reasons, applied to your history.
- Every change is a proposal. You see it before it touches your week.
How Runwritten thinks
Bring the training life you already have.
Your plan, your races, your club sessions and your real calendar. The Coach knows your whole history and writes a varied, individual plan around it. It shows every change before it touches your week.
Bring any plan, faithfully.
The plan you or your coach wrote: a spreadsheet, a CSV, a PDF or a chat. Nothing is condensed. The original is kept, and the review shows what was understood and what wasn't.
Guidelines, not rules.
Every runner is different. Runwritten's training logic is a set of defaults with stated reasons. The Coach applies them with your history, and when your evidence justifies a departure, it explains why and you decide.
Variety with purpose.
Quality sessions progress in shape as well as size, and alternate what they ask of you. A plan should read like a coach wrote it for this season, not like a template with the numbers nudged.
5 × 5′3 × 8′4 × 6′3 × 10′A Coach with real judgement.
It weighs advice from friends and other apps against your context, changes its view when you bring real knowledge, checks facts such as race dates, and says plainly when it was wrong.
Changes as proposals.
Each change carries its reason, is accepted once, and is applied everywhere: Today, the plan and your calendar. Keeping the plan is always a valid answer. Nothing changes silently.
Weeks that fit real life.
Flexible order. Optional runs that replace rather than add. Club runs counted once. Travel dates and busy evenings, planned around rather than ignored.

Who it's for first
Runners with a season, not just a race.
Club runners
Several races, fixed club sessions and a crowded calendar. Keep a coherent season as life changes, without giving up the club or the race intent.
Self-directed runners
Building a serious multi-race season, with a coach that engages with what you already know about training.
Busy beginners and returners
Start credibly, fit it into limited time, and recover calmly from a missed day. The same system, the same care.
Where we are
Early, and clear about it.
Runwritten is in private beta. The two founders train from it now; invitations go out in small groups, and the waitlist is how they are chosen.
- Built: bring your own plan, kept whole; Today and Progress; your recorded runs, sleep and heart-rate variability next to the plan, with missing data said plainly.
- Being built: the Coach in context, plan creation from your whole history, and the season arc with several races.
- Boundaries: Runwritten is not a medical service, it does not coach through a current injury or illness, and it serves adults. Your data is yours; nothing is sold.
